I remember very vividly getting in touch with Mimi several years ago as I found her online. Mimi is great to work with and a true professional. My wife and I have worked with her for about a year and was along for the up-and-down rollercoaster ride that is LA real estate. We thought we hit the jackpot early when only a month into working with her, we opened escrow on a condo near Hancock Park but after hitting a few snags (it was our first escrow after all) we needed to back out of the deal. Undeterred, Mimi still encouraged us to scan the market and let her know of any properties that caught our eye to schedule walkthroughs for, or attend open houses. We must have attended somewhere close to 10 of these, and everytime, Mimi was always on time and ahead of schedule. For the instances where she had scheduling conflicts she was sure to follow up and get our thoughts on the property. This happened for the condo we eventually settled on in the Mid-Wilshire / Mid-City area of Los Angeles, where we initially attended an open house with just my wife and I, and after consulting with Mimi we put in an offer just above asking price which was then brought to a blind three-party counteroffer process. Mimi was insightful throughout the counteroffer process and we put together a number that my wife and I were comfortable with, that ended up being less than half a percent higher than the 2nd highest bid - we were in disbelief and elated.
